ABOUT:

Sadhana Studios

Sadhana Studios, created by Daya Prakash and Kiran Jot, is Melbourne's Kundalini Yoga Centre of Light, building a community dedicated to transformation, elevation, healing, wellness and yogic practices.

Daya Prakash and Kiran Jot instantly connected at The Kundalini Yoga Festival just two months prior to launching Sadhana Studios. They embarked on their collaborative vision to enlighten Melbournian’s together and bring this sacred technology to the masses, deeply inspired by their own transformative journeys. Daya Prakash Kaur, was trained by Master Teacher Tej Kaur Khalsa in Los Angeles, who served Yogi Bhajan for many years archiving his life work and leading the world’s largest Kundalini class. Kiran Jot studied Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan in Bali with Guru Dass and Guruwant, which became a pivotal turning point in her life, as she set out to educate others on the powerful benefits she had personally obtained from this technology, a feeling of inner peace and “coming home”.

Kundalini Yoga is known as “the yoga of awareness”, it is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of the soul, and harness the mental, physical and nervous energies, unlocking the kundalini energy from the base of the spine. This technology introduced to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1969, precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.
